Selen Kısmet

Selen Kısmet is a multidisciplinary Artist and Designer devoted to developing and executing artsy experiences for our constantly changing world.

Selen Kısmet is a graduate of Işık University’s Faculty of Fine Arts and has completed her entire education at Işık Schools. From an early age, she has been deeply passionate about art and fashion, shaping her creative vision. Growing up surrounded by art, Selen’s works reflect her life philosophy, embracing the idea of “less is more.” Her pieces are defined by a minimalist and refined approach, aiming to express the subtleties and deeper meanings of life. Primarily working with oil paints, she has established a unique artistic language with each canvas.

To further her artistic education, Selen attended short-term programs at the Pratt Institute of Fine Arts in New York, adding an international perspective to her creative outlook. Inspired by the city’s dynamic and vibrant atmosphere, she strengthened her connection with both art and fashion.

As a Scorpio, Selen channels the intense energy and passion of her zodiac sign into her work. Her approach to fashion, like her art, carries an emotional depth and a sense of mystery. Currently, she is launching her own brand, Kısmet, introducing the concept of “wearable art” and embarking on a new journey in fashion. Kısmet aims to transform art from a purely visual experience into something that can be integrated into everyday life through minimalist and timeless designs. Selen continues to pursue her painting alongside her fashion projects, determined to make an inspiring mark in both fields.
